We translate classical Arabic works — from the Shamela library (shamela.ws) and printed editions — into English and German, keeping the original Arabic on every page.
How we translateTexts come from the public Shamela library (shamela.ws) and from printed books we enter by hand.
The Arabic source sits beside every translation in full — nothing is paraphrased away.
Arabic only, the translation only, or both side by side.
A note on the translations — they are AI-generated. The pipeline is carefully constrained, and we have editorial tools to review it, but most translations are still unreviewed and complete accuracy cannot always be guaranteed. The original Arabic is the authoritative text and should be studied directly; the translations are offered to support students of knowledge (ṭullāb al-ʿilm) on their journey, not to replace the source.
